    Here we are in April already? Happy Easter and Happy Spring, even though old man winter hasn’t realized it’s time for him to go. We have got all sorts of things on tap for you here at the Coconut. So sit back and enjoy.
    This first bit comes to you from mid town, 75th Street. BJ’s on the Water is hosting a ‘first ever’ CD release party with all proceeds going to the National Cancer Society. Only 300 copies have been pressed for the opening order and many have been pre-sold. So pay the Rust band a visit on Sunday, April 26.
    Yet another exciting appearance at BJ’s happens this Monday, April 13 at 6pm. Former Nighthawks guitarist ‘extaordinaire’ Danny Morris takes the stage for a special event! Danny specializes in surf, blues and other 6 string classics. Don’t forget Wednesday deck party and weekend entertainment.
    Fish Tales is open for business! The gang is back in action for ‘09 down at Bahia Marina on 21st St. and the bay. Enjoy excellent selections from Danielles kitchen, have a shot-ski and enjoy the great bay view Fish Tales is famous for.
    Downtown on the Talbot St. pier, M.R. Ducks is soon gearing up for the ‘09 season.  One of downtown’s great spots for fun, sun and live music. Look for live music beginning in May for ‘duck’ parties on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays!
    I caught the full lineup of Love Seed Mama Jump last weekend at the Rudder in Dewey! This Delaware favorite from the ‘90s made it feel like old-home week.  The band performed with lots of other acts at the Spring Music Fest. A little reggae, little alt-rock, a little jam band fare and some power pop!
    The Worcester County Autistic Children’s Support Group will hold its annual fundraiser at the Greene Turtle West on May 25. This is a Sunday affair from 1-5pm. Live music from the areas best, an all American BBQ, Live & Chinese auctions, 50/50 drawings, door prizes are all yours for the bargain basement entree fee of $10. More on this as it develops.
    Look for Pompous Pie this Saturday,  April 11, at the Back of the Bag on 131st St. at 9pm.  We’ll also be at Dr. Unks on Friday, April 24 at 6pm and Greene Turtle West on Saturday, April 25 at 9pm.
