Hey OC! Get ready for another great weekend here at Coins. Full Circle will be providing the entertainment Saturday Night (28th) starting at 9:00pm.They are such a great band and we always have a blast when they are here. Big thanks to Randy Lee and the Saltwater Cowboys for last weekend’s entertainment. Brenda Golden even stepped up to the mic and sang for us. I love to hear you sing!!

Another round of departures: Mike (smiley) and Ben, thanks for all the great stories and material, guys; I will miss you both.

And Ben, that haircut you gave Rich really wasn't a very nice parting gift. Poor Rich, it will grow out quickly, but I have to say the look on your Girlfriend’s face when she saw you was priceless !! 

Kathy (Peds) and her lovely friends stopped in for a drink. I'm not sure if we were the actual destination or if they just really wanted to get off that bus!! Either way it was nice to see all of you and I'm glad to have been the one to provide that much nee drink.

Lots of Trivia action lately. It's always fun to have customers team up and compete against each other, and it's a nice bonus to get COINS ranked in the top twenty in the country. Joe Freeman was in, he's really good at trivia. Always a pleasure, Joe, and we will see you the next time you come home.

Hey OC. Congratulations to our very own Kim Willey and her Friends for the big win in the poor girls open; that is quite an accomplishment ladies. So happy for the whole crew who fished aboard the Fin-esse and took First Place Tuna with Kim landing a 74 lb Tuna and cleaning up in the Mahi division; it sounds like it was a great day at sea !!!

Do Do Brown, I can’t even begin to imagine what this was like for you Rich. Happy shopping for that new mattress topper.

I think it’s official now, Tim has given up draw space.... welcome to the hood Keira. The Drewmaster is the latest departure from Coins this summer. I will truly miss you Drew. I hope you all at least tried to freshen up your place that has been described to me as smelling like a giant bladder. Oh, just the thought of it makes me shudder... Have fun at school, but not too much or else you will be joining us again next year !!!

Get ready for some great football specials here at Coins. Hey OC. A big congrats to all the anglers who took part in the WMO. Our very own Steve participated and made it to the scales; way to go !!

Smitty had the whole house dancing and partying last Friday. Lots of familiar faces came by to enjoy the music and to help Charlotte celebrate her birthday. Miss Selma Kolb made an appearance. We were so very happy to see you and hope you know that you are always among friends here and that we are hoping to see more of you.

Mikey has left the building. I will miss you very much. You have made the most appearances here this summer; now you will have to read about everyone else on-line. Have fun at school and keep in touch. Mike (smiley), thanks for helping out and running next door for that bucket of steam. You are a real team player. Maybe this experience could lead to a subject for your Grad School Thesis.

Paul, I hope the numbered seats are helping you at the bar. Remember that 74 is between 70 and 80. Drew and Rich, thanks for blowing off work for a party. I came out of server retirement and made some extra $$$$, and had a great time doing it.

Good Luck to David and his M.R Ducks Crew. They are going sky diving this week and I'll be a nervous wreck till you are back on the ground !!

Our very own Charles Barkley was a good samaritan this past week when he assisted a local man who was hit on the bridge; way to go Charles. Big Ed and Vicki are in town this week. I'm having my coffee as I write this, Ed, so all is good.... Tony and Carol were in town with the family. It's nice to have faces to put with names; glad you all enjoyed your stay. Carol said she can't come play with us this weekend; we'll see....

GW tried to become one with nature and lost her pants in the progress. Oh well,  maybe you’re on to something - leaf exfoliating and hair conditioner rolled into one!!! Mikey, I know about the running of 28th street in your underwear. I guess when you dress up like a giant reptile for a living,  going out in your underwear isn't that big of a deal!
