I am happy to report that the missing server has been located and returned to our fold. It seems that circumstances beyond the control of Bill led to his disappearance last week. After much worry and speculation, Bill has returned unharmed and no worse for wear. The reward is officially rescinded and all bets are off. The official report has not yet been released, pending the outcome of the investigation. Our readers will be kept posted for future developments of this story.
In another breaking story Cezar was seen last week picking up a late night fare and vanished for 24 hours. There does seem to be a relevant connection between the missing Cezar and the later disappearance of Bill. The psychic who assisted in the two cases keeps coming up with some kind of “eraser” linking the two victims. Those who know the two individuals are tight-lipped about what this means. The writer of this article remains suspicious. Sources tell me Cezar is planning a trip… this could be dangerous!
After a week’s absence Yvonne and Tom are back on our dance floor creating magic. It is always great to see the two of them dancing in sync …every spin, every turn, every dip and every glide. And that’s just one of the benefits of a long and happy marriage.
Have a great sunfest weekend everyone, and remember to see us during the second season.

Some of our very favorite friends were in this week, all deserving big shouts outs: Beverly and Allan, Betsy and Blaise (celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary), Pat and Ed, and Jocelyn and her mom, Carol. It is great when both old and new friends stop by.
A few of our beach crew had their final summer fling – Chuck, the ring-leader, Lauren, our grill chef, Debbie, our spa manager, Scott, our incredible bartender, Guiseppi, our other incredible bartender, and yours truly, the one who pens this column, all went tubing down the mighty Delaware River. I am able to predict that all survived and celebrated with a memorable dinner in New Hope.  I foresee the makings of an annual trip.
The incredibly beautiful and stylish Paulette and her very handsome and debonair husband, Tony, were spotted on the dance floor this week. The way they dance, the way they smile, the way their eyes sparkle… they bring as much joy to those around them as they give to each other. I also want to give a special shout out to one of OC’s favorite people, one who always has a kind word, an appreciation of what our town has to offer, and a genuine love of people, yes, Brenda (Coconut Times), I am giving the final shout of the week to you. We all love you.

Labor Day Weekend was a “Full House” by everybody’s standards, not to mention all the No Vacancy signs around town. A little bit of warm weather can go a long way in O.C.. We are still in the final weeks of the first season, and anticipating a busy second.
I want to wish a great big Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, Zoe, before I go any further. I wish her every happiness and intend on being there to share them all with her! A shout out goes to our dear friends, Joyce and Murphy, who are both resting comfortably in Connecticut.
I also want to thank Chuck for being a great deck & pool bar manager this summer. He and his terrific crew, especially Lauren and her grill staff, get the two thumbs-up award this season. I also want to say how wonderful it is having Julie visit us, finally. She was missed all summer. I understand she is here until “they put her bags out in the driveway.” Julie, I don’t think you have to worry about that.
Cesar can still be seen late at night going up and down Coastal Highway… always looking, always looking.

Cool breezes became cooler this week at the beach. For those of us who call OC home, it was a welcome change. For our visitors, the warmer beach days are not gone; they’re just taking a short break.
The jumbo screens in the Ocean Club are up and running, and waiting for all you football fans. A very big shout-out to Kathy Panco, Ocean City’s Citizen of the Year. She is a great choice and a very dear friend to all of us here. Another big shout- out goes to Jamie, whose soft ball team won the local championship this season.
Violet and Sushil were this past weekend for dinner. They are a wonderful couple from the mid-west who keep a second home in Ocean City, and dear friends of Ms. Trudi and all of us here. Barbara, Ann, Carol and Michaela have been staying with us this week. They are also very special friends of ours and make the Clarion their beach retreat.
And to keep everyone aware of Cezar, he was spotted this week prowling the beach and being eyed by a desperate vixen in need of his special talents. The elusive Cezar knew what he was up against and under the cloak of darkness evaporated into the evening mist, leaving “smashly” alone and wondering. The great Cezar is a clever one! But be warned, he is a creature of the night!
And on that note, I wish you all a wonderful week in Ocean City. Cezar and I will be looking for you.
