That’s not thunder; it’s the Hot Rods announcing the start of another season. There have already been sightings of sand chairs, umbrellas and ladies in bikinis (although wrapped up in beach towels.) Everyone is talking about a sunny, hot summer, and I’d say we are ready for it. Everywhere in town preparations are being finalized to kick-start the 2012 OC hot summer days, and those wild & crazy nights.
    Speaking of which, Mary formally introduced our new bartender, Joann, to the locals. The details are a little fuzzy, but the intention was certainly honorable. Way to go Mary & Joann. Back from the slopes of Colorado is Rob. Shout-out to Tom who was in this past weekend celebrating a birthday. He & Yvonne were making all the moves on the dance floor, as effortlessly as always. Randy & Fran were also in. Hazel was seen in the mix with Eddie, Joe and Wally. Another shout-out goes to Karen. Unfortunately Karen is mending an injured shoulder. Mark was in this week and will be returning soon with his beautiful wife, Karen, and children Alex & Anthony.
    Jamie & Jillian are one week closer to graduation. It’s hard to believe the end of one chapter and the start of another. I’m very proud of both of them. So, until next week. Say “Good night”, Lucy!
