The 6th Annual Halloween Party at BJ’s on the Water (75th St.) begins at the witching hour of 4pm today (10/31). This ‘monster mash’ bash features the act known from Cape Fear to Slaughter Neck Beach, Teenage (Blood) Lust and the FANG-U-LOUS Lustettes! Also known as the ‘crypt kicker six,’ the band is: ‘Macabre’ Madlyn and Bill ‘Hurricane’ Carder, Horizontal Howard ‘Hitman’ Wimbrow on ghoulish guitar, ‘predator’ Paul and ‘Pistol’ Kristal Grandelle, reputed ‘sax’ offender Joe ‘Sayonara’ Smooth and peeping Tommy ‘Vermin’ Lutz. Look for “Mestopholes’ Marco at the door and Frank (N. Stain) Snyder behind the bar! Visit this midtown massacre if you dare! Caution!! THE FIRST TWO ROWS MAY GET SLIMED! (even more than usual!) Teenage (Blood) Lust and the FAN-TASTING Lustettes are a ‘Blood’ Redstone Production. The debauchery doesn’t end there. At the 9pm witching hour tonight BJ’s features the appearance of Tommy ‘Guns’ Edward, aka Sir (Ram) Rod, and Sat. night it’s Kenny (Rev. Jim) Jones and Jaded (Dark) Angels. Don’t miss it; YOUR LIFE MAY JUST DEPEND ON IT!
The ‘final’ appearance of the ‘Duck Party’ for ‘08 was a real barn burner last weekend. Tranzfusion haunted the house despite frightening weather conditions on Sat. ‘Hannibal’ Hank, ‘Bloody’ Bobby, ‘Terrible’ Tommy, ‘Jugular’ Josh and ‘Apple’ Bob put on a ‘helluva’ show! Sunday Johnny (get your gun) Bling killed! The local crowd came out in (the ace of) spades even with bone chilling cold! Thanks for a fun year to the crew at M.R.’s. Especially ‘Sinister’ Susan, ‘Menacing’ Megan, ‘Meanie’ Jeanie, ‘Crypt Keeper’ Katie, ‘Jolting’ Joe and Crystal ‘Balls.’
Seacrets Jamaica USA is a fine spot to ‘hang’ for the weekend of all ‘Hallows Eve.’ Friday features a costume contest that awards 1st place with a trip for two to Jamaica (4 days, 3 nights). 2nd place will receive $300 and 3rd gets $200. The entertainment lists 5 ‘terrifying’ bands: Kristen and the Noise, The Betty Ford Dropouts, Zion Reggae Band, Back 2 Life and Rock Bottom. Shocking thrills, chills and spills await you at 49th St. and The Bay!
Smitty McGee’s is offering $500 in cash and prizes for its costume party tonight at 9pm. ‘Rancid’ Randy Lee Ashcraft and the Salt Water Cowboys come on at 8pm. After college game day on Sat. Smitty McGee’s features (8pm) Chris Button ‘Man’ for some guitar infused ‘madness.’
DJ (Steal Your) Soulfinger will darken the doors at Coins Pub (28th St.), also tonight beginning at 9pm. Scary!!
Fager’s Island features Sugarbuzz (saw) and DJ Wood (stake) for their annual HOWL-O-WEEN party. The spoils to costume party winners are worth $500 in cash and prizes.
The Steer Inn on Racetrack Rd. has a costume bash featuring the boys and ghouls of The Lauren Glick Band on 10/31 with prizes and tunes on tap. Bloody Great!
