Hey! Psssst! Come over here; whatchoo doin'?, cuz' if yer doin' nuttin', ya should do sumpthin', so make it with the NEthingz at the Purple Moose this Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3.  Go Ga Ga, get your Kix; are you Twisted Sister?  No Doubt anything goes with the NEthingz, at the World Famous Purple Moose Saloon, Ocean City's ONLY boardwalk nightclub, located between Talbot and Caroline Streets in Olde Town; all shows begin at 10p.m.
    Is this house a'rockin?  If I'm a liar, my pants are on fire, honest it's The Cheaters, those southern-fried whiskey-fueled electric jewels shining Sunday and Monday, August 4 and 5. Currently touring America, soon to be in Europe, these guys lay their musical cards on the table, so come to the Moose and be a part of the full-house!
    Then, if you're feeling low, come dance with Megan & Hyjinx on Tuesday, August 6. Her voice is incredible. I have had numerous people tell me when they see her perform that they only were coming in for one drink but just couldn't leave.  They'll get you on your feet so you feel the beat with no retreat until you get high with Hyjinx.
    Don't take off those dancing shoes!  Wave your tails in the air, wave your tails in the air, cats n' kittens all's fair in love and DJ Calico's in da house! I bet you didn't know that all cats are communists: they all go around chanting "Mao, Mao!" It's a dance revolution on Wednesday, August 7.  
Now grab an antler and walk this way because Aerosmith tribute band Toys in the Attic keeps rockin' the dream on Thursday, August 8. You  know the classic sound that's kept generations livin' on the edge. They're back in the Moose's saddle, so don't be the last child through our door.  You'll shake the dust off yer ass when you come up to see Toys in the Attic!
    A reminder: appearing at the Purple Moose on Wednesday, August 15, comedian Colin Kane takes the stage with his nationally renowned improvisational skills.  This rising star recently completed a successful two-year run at New York's famous Caroline's Comedy Club and had 7000 fans laughing at Madison Square Garden Theater.     Have a great week in Ocean City,  Use the CROSSWALKS...but please don't depend on traffic stopping. On the south end, even when using the crosswalk, you take your life in your hands, but at least if you get hit in the crosswalk, you got a good lawsuit.
